Business Opportunity

Anyone (individuals and businesses alike) can join the Botanoo.com system by registering through another Member’s replicated webpage, decide to participate in trading carbon credits, and profit from the scale of economics.

Members from anywhere in the world can purchase business packages of EUR 400 or EUR 1,200 (or multiples thereof) from Botanoo.com.
Member funds are used to source and purchase high-quality certified marketable voluntary carbon credits from reputable suppliers (project developers).
More and more people are recognizing the need to join forces and act in concert – without competing national, business and individual interests – to build a ‘new economy’ based on sustainability, in order to leave a better world for our children.
The business opportunity Botanoo believes training and education, combined with a growing trade of ‘green’ products and voluntary greenhouse gas emission reductions are the best way to raise global awareness. The business opportunity Botanoo encourages its members to participate in the following opportunities:

Build a global community of environmentally conscious people – individuals, households, small business and medium size businesses – who make becoming ‘carbon neutral’(carbon credit) a priority by purchasing voluntary carbon credits on a regular basis;
Introduce more and more people around the globe to the rapidly expanding business of emission reductions trade and give them the business opportunity to market voluntary carbon credits in various forms using a unique, multilingual internet platform.

We invite you to find out more about the Business Opportunity Botanoo. It may be just the right thing for you.
Carbon Credits purchased are registered with MarkIT, a London-based international organization that provides price transparency and financial infrastructure to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency, so every member and customer may rest assured that these credits are real and of high quality.

The point here is that timing is important: members who join earlier may enjoy greater profits. The company rewards members who decide to promote the business opportunity and introduce new members from anywhere in the world to the system.

What are carbon credits

What are carbon credits and how do they work?
1 Carbon Credit= 1 Tonne of Caebon dioxide-CO2

Carbon credits are a key component of national and international emissions trading schemes that have been implemented to mitigate global warming.
They provide a way to reduce greenhouse effect emissions on an industrial scale by capping total annual emissions and letting the market assign a monetary value to any shortfall through trading.
Carbon Credits can be exchanged between businesses or bought and sold in international markets at the prevailing market price. Carbon Credits can be used to finance carbon reduction schemes between trading partners and around the world.

There are also many companies that sell carbon credits to commercial and individual customers who are interested in lowering their carbon footprint on a voluntary basis.
These carbon credits offsetters purchase the carbon credits from an investment fund or a carbon development company that has aggregated the credits from individual projects.
The quality of the carbon credits is based in part on the validation process and sophistication of the fund or development company that acted as the sponsor to the carbon credit project.

This is reflected in their price; voluntary units typically have less value than the units sold through the rigorously-validated Clean Development Mechanism.
A ‘carbon credit’, sometimes referred to as an offset, is a permit to emit a specified amount of greenhouse gases, usually expressed in metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). ‘Carbon credits’ are named after the most prominent greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide, but can represent other warming gases.Credits can be allocated by government as part of a plan that sets a limit on the total amount of CO2 that may be emitted in that jurisdiction, in what generally referred to as a cap-and-trade system.

Companies may be awarded a number of permits, and must emit only as much GHG for which they have permits. Carbon credits can be earned through projects that reduce emissions, or by companies that cut their own emissions and thereby free up credits they possess for trading.
Carbon markets exist wherein which companies may purchase and sell credits.

Global Warming

Since the Industrial Revolution, our climate has changedThere is no question that industry has made our lives easier and more convenient in the past 100 years, but the resulting pollution has caused drastic harm to our environment. Global warming is the major negative consequence of industrial pollution and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

Carbon dioxide is a compound found naturally in our atmosphere, but in very small quantities (about .04%). Carbon duoxide is responsible for absorbing some sun’s infrared after they have been reflected from the Earth’s surface. When there is an abundance of CO2, however, too many rays are absorbed, heating the atmosphere to unnatural degrees – compare this to heat trapped in a car left in the sun.
This causes global warming, also known as the greenhouse effect. Although there are other greenhouse gasses that contribute to global warming, carbon dioxide is the most prominent. Because this is the case, greenhouse gasses are known collectively as CO2 emissions.

However, most nations’ economies are based around industries that produce carbon dioxide, so calling for an all-out banwould cripple many developed and developing nations.
The environmental future of our planet depends on curbing our carbon output. Carbon credits are fast becoming the global currency toward a greener planet. Many companies sell carbon credits to commercial and individual companies interested in reducing their pollution footprint on a voluntary basis. This method of carbon credit offsetting lets people purchase from a carbon credit-development company that has accrued credits from individual projects such planting trees or funding clean-energy research.

The quality of the carbon credits is validated by a development company that sponsored said carbon credit projects, which is often reflected in the price: individual carbon credits tend to be cheaper than the Clean Development Mechanism – an arrangement that developed out of the KyotoProtocol.

The Kyoto Protocol is a program developed by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change which has set out to achieve “stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic [human caused] interference with the climate system.

It was during this summit, in 1997, that the idea of the carbon credit was developed. More than 100 nations signed it. The entire European Union participates in credit trading.
